Major League Rugby (MLR), is a North American professional Rugby Union league. It is sanctioned in part by USA Rugby. MLR will operate with twelve teams in 2023, compared to the original seven in 2018. The teams will be playing in Los Angeles and Dallas with the possibility to play another in Canada.

Major League Rugby will be divided into two conferences. Each conference will have the top three division winners, with the conference finals featuring the conference champions. Each conference will host a team once during the regular season. If a team wins both conference finals, they will qualify for the playoffs.
